Interface-Assisted Laser Desorption and Ionization of Molecules on Nanoparticles
Interface-Assisted Laser Desorption and Ionization of Molecules on Nanoparticles
The mission of the Collaborative Research Centre 1477 LiMatI (Light-Matter Interactions at Interfaces) is the exploration of light-matter interactions at interfaces employing strong ultrafast fields and dedicated targets. Project S06 develops new strategies for non-destructive and efficient desorption and ionization of fragile (bio)molecules from particles using femtosecond- and sub-cycle laser fields in aerosol mass spectrometry.
