Antibody Sequencing

We offer sequencing of monoclonal antibodies to obtain the genetic information of the antibody coding sequence and to develop recombinant antibody formats.

Since hybridoma cells may be subject to genetic drift or accumulate variations in the antibody sequence, loss of a unique antibody can be prevented by sequencing the antibody-coding DNA of the hybridoma cells. We can determine the specific sequence of the variable light and heavy chain of each antibody.

By cloning the variable heavy and light chains into different expression vectors, recombinant antibodies can be produced in virtually unlimited quantities. The IgG subclass of the antibody can be switched to different isotypes of the same or a different species (mouse, human). In addition, antibody engineering for expression of Fab fragments, variable single-chain fragments (scFv), or antibody fusion proteins with different labels is possible.
