" At CF-Flow we strive to provide a bespoke and comprehensive service portfolio to our users. Whether you run a project or a large cohort study, want to isolate single cells or nuclei, deeply phenotype complex mixtures of cells or tissues, characterize vesicles or need consulaton or training, we are here to help. We have the expertise and experience to make sure that everything goes smoothly."

Educational Background and Current Interests

After 15 years of living, studying and working in Cambridge, UK, I moved to Munich in 2020 to do my PhD in Molecular Ageing at Helmholtz Pioneer Campus in the lab of Dr. Celia Martinez-Jimenez. Having access to a flow sorter was indispensable to my work as it heavily relied on isolating cells and nuclei for single cell multiomics, and I was fortunate enough to be a trained flow operator already. I am very excited to offer flow cytometry services now to a diverse user group here on campus and beyond as this widely used technology is crucially important to many research fields and new cross-platform workflows.

Flow Cytometry enables highthoughput, fast multiparameter anaylsis of the physcial and (bio-) chemical properties of mixed cell pupulations. Resulting data allow deep phenotypic profiling and easy statistical read-out of complex mixtures of cells. This remarkable speed and precision is what makes flow cytometry an indispensable tool for advancing our understanding of complex biological systems.
