MARTHA

The Milk Against Respiratory Tract Infections and Asthma (MARTHA) cohort focuses on the relationship between milk consumption and respiratory health, particularly the prevention of respiratory tract infections and asthma. Respiratory infections in early childhood are a significant risk factor for the development of chronic lung diseases, including asthma. MARTHA investigates whether early dietary factors, particularly the consumption of raw or processed milk, influence immune system development and respiratory health.
