Tissue Regeneration:

The Rinkevich lab wishes to identify fundamental cellular and molecular principles of tissue/organ regeneration and to develop a basis for therapeutic strategies in clinical use. 

Applied Techniques:

Our lab combines state-of-the-art flow cytometry techniques, multi-color mouse models, mouse genetics, single cell analysis, in-silico approaches and live imaging.

Lung Fibrosis:

The lab is interessted in the identification of embryonic origins of the fibroblasts. In order to approach it, the live in-vivo imaging of fibroblast lineages and the wound healing models in fetal and adult mice are undertaken.

Studies on Mesothelium:

The lab is studying regeneration of methotelium of the organs. For that aim the single cell analysis and the molecular characterization of the mesothelium are applied.

Tissue Patterning:

Generation of in-vitro organoid assays from single stem cells. In-vivo clonal analysis and lineage tracing of stem cells during tissue development and  regeneration. Functional studies of gene perturbations in stem cell lineages using mouse models of organ injury.
