In addition to content on the prevalence, risk factors, causes, and diagnosis of obesity, the portal also offers a detailed overview of various treatment approaches as well as possible comorbidities and long-term consequences.
The national diabetes information portal diabinfo.de has expanded its offerings: The new topic section on "Obesity" complements existing content on the prevention of type 2 diabetes and other non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases.
