Munich Epigenetic Spotlight 2022

On Monday, October 24th 2022, Maria Elena Torres-Padilla (Director, IES) and Robert Schneider (Director, IFE) invite fellow researchers from the Munich Epigenetics Community to the 6th Munich Epigenetic Spotlight Meeting at Helmholtz Munich. The meeting is a great opportunity to discuss recent exciting findings in chromatin biology, histone and DNA/RNA modifications and mechanisms of different epigenetic phenomena from and with the meet the Munich Epigenetics Community.

This year's keynote speakers are Eileen Furlong from EMBL, Heidelberg, and Yang Shi from the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Oxford.

Presentation Contest

Next to the keynote speakers, senior PhD students and Postdocs are cordially invited to present their work in front of the expert audience and apply for one of the four presentation slots. All abstracts will be reviewed by the meeting organizers. Selected presentations will participate in the contest for the presentation prizes kindly provided by sponsors Dovetail Genomics and Epigenomes. The presentations will be reviewed by our keynote speakers and the presentation prizes will be awarded after the meeting.

Note: Presentation slots are reserved for PhD students and Postdocs from the Munich Epigenetics Community.

Abstract Submission:       

If you are a senior PhD student or Postdoc and you would like to have an oral presentation, please submit an abstract (300 words in total, title, affiliations). Four speakers will be selected out of all submitted abstracts. You will be informed of the decision approximately 2 weeks after the registration deadline.
