Forschungsbereich
Unser langfristiges Ziel ist es, die genetischen und epigenetischen Blaupausen der kortikalen Entwicklung und Evolution zu entschlüsseln. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, untersuchen wir die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Transkriptionsfaktoren, der 3D-Organisation des Zellkerns und der Genexpression sowohl in vivo als auch unter Verwendung von Hirnorganoiden. Unsere Forschung ist hochgradig interdisziplinär und verbindet Entwicklungsneurobiologie, Einzelzell-Omics, Mausgenetik, CRISPR-basierte Techniken und computergestützte Biologie.
