Forschungsbereich

Nico Battich begann seine wissenschaftliche Laufbahn in Schottland, wo er im Jahr 2010 einen hervorragenden Abschluss in Molekular- und Zellbiologie an der Universität Glasgow erwarb. Anschließend promovierte er in Systembiologie an der Universität Zürich. Er erhielt Postdoktorandenstipendien des Schweizerischen Nationalfonds und des Human Frontier Science Program, um am Hubrecht-Institut in den Niederlanden zu forschen. Seit August 2022 ist er Gruppenleiter am Helmholtz Pioneer Campus in München, wo er sich mit der Systembiologie der Stammzelldifferenzierung befasst.
