Biography:
I studied Applied Informatics with a minor in Engineering Science at the University of Bayreuth from 2014 to 2017, where my interest for big data and data analytics arose. Therefore, I did my master in Munich at TUM from 2018 to 2020 in the program of Data Engineering and Analytics, with a main focus on Data Analytics. My master thesis was about the "Efficient Implementation of Deep Convolutional Gaussian Processes".
I am part of the MUDS program and started as a PhD Candidate at the Menden Lab at ICB at 1st of October in 2021. Here I analyse the molecular landscape of inflammatory skin diseases using machine learning and biostatistical models and aim for contributing to precision medicine in the field of dermatology. Besides, I am also interested on graphs and the usage of Machine Learning on them.
