Asieh completed her Bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Azad University in Parand, Iran, and obtained her Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. She performed the practical part of her Master thesis at Helmholtz Zentrum München and joined the Schneider lab as a PhD student in July 2018. Her PhD project focuses on the epigenetic regulation of gene expression and the mechanism of transcriptional control in mammalian cells.
