Sandra completed her Bachelor’s degree in Life Science at the Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) before joining the lab of Dr. Daniel Messerschmidt at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (Singapore) for an internship. She obtained her Master’s degree in Biology at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg (Germany) and joined the Schneider lab in October 2017 as a PhD student. The aim of her project is to unravel novel histone modifications and to understand the metabolic impact on histone acylations.
