About our Work
We combine scientific expertise with regulatory responsibility to ensure that animal studies at our institute are both legally compliant and scientifically meaningful. Our team takes an active role in planning and shaping experimental designs, aligning them with ethical standards, biosafety regulations, and the principles of the 3Rs.
Our responsibilities include:
- Scientifically guided planning and preparation of animal experiment applications (TVAs)
- Managing regulatory approvals and personnel registrations
- Ensuring biosafety and GMO compliance (GenTG, GenTSV)
- Providing structured documentation for reproducible and transparent research
- Acting as the interface between scientists, authorities, and animal welfare officers
By integrating regulatory knowledge with scientific insight, we take responsibility for the quality and credibility of animal research at our institute. Our goal is to enable innovation while ensuring that every study meets the highest standards of scientific rigor, legality, and animal welfare.
