Research Area
Julia has started her work in COMI in September 2017 as a PhD student. First, she focused on structure and function of microbial communities in biological soil crusts under different land use as part of the project Crustfunction within the Biodiversity Exploratories. After maternity leave Julia continued her work as local coordinator for the Core project 8 “Microorganisms” in the Biodiversity Exploratories, which supports other projects with high quality data on microbiomes in soils.
