Kristina Bichler has been working as a Doctoral Researcher student in COMI since September 2020, focusing her work on the effects of agricultural practices on the endophytic microbiome of barley. Her work is embedded into the EU project BioFoodOnMars which aims to develop new strategies to increase the amount and quality of food and feed crops in Europe.
