Temperature tracking in bio samples storage

IT Systems and Data Integration

Biobanking involves the management of data on collecting, processing, and transport of biosamples as well as on storage, usage, and performed analysis (incl. analysis results).

Due to the large number of biosamples and quantity of data stored in the Helmholtz Munich biobank, data management is very important for successful project work. We operate various IT systems, e.g. LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), eCRF (electronic Case Report Forms), and Temperature Monitoring (Testo).

Our CF- Biobank team is responsible for the central biosample register (ZBR) of the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF).

We provide:

  • Advice on local and individual IT solutions
  • Usage of our laboratory management system (LIMS)
