Peters brings ISEE 2026 to Munich
ISEE2026 is coming to Munich!
Institute Director Annette Peters and her team have successfully won the hosting of the annual ISEE 2026 conference!
In 2026, "Understanding and Responding to Global and Local Challenges: Environmental Epidemiology in a Changing World” will be the focus.
The International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE), is comprised of numerous members who conduct scientific research on the relationship between environmental exposures and human health. Each year, ISEE focuses on a particular environmental health issue and brings together scientists from around the world to discuss and disseminate environmental epidemiological methods, new studies, and global challenges.
Founded in 1987, ISEE is coming to Bavaria for the second time after 25 years under the auspices of Helmholtz Munich. In 2001, the ISEE took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen under the leadership of Prof. H. E. Wichmann.
For the 38th time, the annual important conference will now take place in the “world capital with heart” thanks to Peters & her team! An amazing success!
