Summer School on Chromatin Biology: A hands-on expedition

Stem Cells, IES,

We are delighted to announce the launch of the "1st Helmholtz Summer School on Chromatin Biology: A hands-on expedition", which will take place at the Neuherberg Campus of Helmholtz Munich, from August 15-26, 2022.

The international summer school is designed for 12 PhD students and postdocs who have recently ventured into the exciting area of chromatin biology and epigenetics. The participants will perform ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, ChIC/Cut&RUN-seq, CUT&Tag-seq and chromatin biochemistry experiments plus hands-on analysis of the data generated. The practical course is complemented by daily high-profile lectures by leading experts in the fields of chromatin and epigenetics who pioneered innovative methodologies and conceptual breakthroughs. This summer school provides a unique opportunity for young scientists to learn state-of-the-art techniques, discuss with leading scientists, build up personal networks and to initiate new exciting collaborations.
