Academic Career

Dr Georgios Kaissis, MHBA is an adjunct assistant professor at Technical University of Munich, where he holds the positions of senior research scientist at Institute of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and of attending radiologist at the Institute of Radiology. He obtained his medical and doctoral degrees from LMU Munich, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration for Healthcare from FAU Nuremberg and his radiology specialisation from TU Munich. He completed a post-doc in Machine Learning with Prof Daniel Rueckert at Imperial College London. At TUM, he leads the research group “Trustworthy and privacy-preserving artificial intelligence”.
