Vocational training as a biology lab technician

As a trainee, you will work with us in the laboratory to solve a wide range of problems. You will carry out practical experiments in consultation with our scientists and evaluate them. You will operate modern measuring and analysis equipment. During your training, you will gain an insight into working with microorganisms, cell cultures and laboratory animals. You will learn a wide variety of molecular biological, biochemical, chemical and immunological working methods and techniques, which you will use to work with us on research into common diseases. For this purpose, you will be deployed in various institutes and departments of our research centre and thus acquire a very broad knowledge.

In addition, all trainees take part in internal training (Word, Excel, PP courses), training on learning and communication strategies, and team training.
