PBMCs Isolation
Aim of this service is the isolation of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) from whole blood.
Sample submission: 5-10 ml vial of fresh whole blood in EDTA/Heparin collection tube. The blood sample muss be pathogen free (HIV-, HBV-, HCV-).
PBMCs are isolated using Ficoll – Paque density gradient centrifugation.
The isolation service requires one day. The cells can be cultured further for reprogramming or cryopreserved directly.
