Vocational training as animal care taker

Get to know different areas of animal husbandry – mainly working with small rodents and fish
- Complete internships with our partner institutions to gain experience with other animal species
Learn how to handle animals respectfully and responsibly
Care for, nurse, and breed animals (e.g. calculate and prepare feeding rations)
Monitor and document the health and behavior of animals
Assist in treatments and minor procedures together with veterinarians and study leaders
Maintain hygiene and organization within the animal facilities
Take part in internal training session (e.g. IT courses, teamwork workshops)

I have good grades in science subjects
