Core Facility Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells

Over the past ten years, we developed an extensive toolbox of reprogramming services. We advise users on sample acceptance criteria, quality control and experimental strategies for differentiation modalities.
We will guide you to find the most suitable tissue of origin for a disease model and perform pilot experiments to ensure its suitability for your specific application.

CF-iPSC has successfully reprogrammed more than 90% of the submitted patient samples from various disease backgrounds (e.g. PURA Syndrome, Bohring Opitz Syndrome, IRF 2 BPL-related disorders, MPAN disorders).

We have established clinically relevant differentiation modalities for the three embryonic lineages.

The CF-iPSC provides control iPSCs for internal distribution. They can be shared with third-party non-Helmholtz Munich collaborators under Material Transfer Agreement.
Our neonatal control lines are part of the Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Registry (hPSCreg) and have been distributed into more then 50 labs internationally.
