Organoid based Differentiation

We offer differentiation services for both 2D and organoid-based differentiation protocols. A comprehensive overview of the 2D differentiation protocols established within the core facility can be found in Grosch et al.

Organoid-based differentiation services are currently limited to previously published organoid protocols. We offer brain and skin organoid modalities for ectoderm, muscle, chondrocyte and neuromesodermal organoids for mesoderm, and lung and human liver organoids (HLOs) for endoderm. We are open to developing novel protocols for your tissue of interest as part of a research grant and routinely provide training in our in-house established differentiation modalities.

We can provide characterisation services for organoids on request, such as performing whole organoid imaging using the Blaze ultra-microscope, which is available at the Core Facility Pathology and Tissue Analysis (CF-PTA).
