Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Honors Janna Nawroth as Henriette Herz Scout
Dr. Janna Nawroth, Principal Investigator at the Helmholtz Munich Pioneer Campus, has been selected as a scout in the Henriette Herz Scouting Programme of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
This highly selective program empowers successful academics in Germany to identify and recruit exceptional postdoctoral researchers from abroad who have not yet applied to the Foundation. Each year, only up to 40 scouts are chosen through a competitive peer-review process. This honor recognizes Janna’s outstanding scientific achievements, extensive international network, and proven commitment to mentoring junior researchers.
As a Henriette Herz scout, Janna Nawroth will have the opportunity to recommend up to three highly qualified international junior researchers for a Humboldt Research Fellowship, and mentor them in her team at the Pioneer Campus at Helmholtz Munich, significantly expanding Germany's collaborative research landscape and fostering global scientific exchange.
“I am beyond thrilled about the opportunity to recruit international talent to my team in the framework of the Humboldt Research Fellowship”, said Janna Nawroth. “This position will allow us to attract highly qualified scientists from different backgrounds to strengthen and expand our interdisciplinary research efforts”.
