Updates were presented across all research tasks, including (1) PTLD (Post-TB Lung Disease) Cohort, (2) PTLD Intervention, (3) Host–Pathogen Interaction, (4) Implementation Research, and (5) Socio-Economics. Alongside scientific progress, dedicated discussions addressed capacity development, networking initiatives, and policy engagement, reflecting the consortium’s commitment to sustainable cooperation and global health impact. The meeting concluded with a plenary discussion on recent developments, lessons learned, and strategic priorities for the next phase of the TB Sequel II study. The annual meeting once again provided an important platform for exchange, reinforcing the collaborative spirit driving the TB Sequel project.
In the following days, the 2025 Union World Conference on Lung Health 2025 took place from 18 to 21 November at the Bella Center in Copenhagen. UGH researchers Prof. Michael Hoelscher and Dr. Kathrin Held presented current research findings at the world’s largest conference on lung health.
