The 11th Helmholtz Diabetes Conference will be hosted by Stephan Herzig, with Maria Rohm and Mauricio Berriel Diaz, all from the Helmholtz Diabetes Center/IDC. This year, a special focus will be put on "Wasting Metabolism".

The 8 sessions will cover various focal topics: metabolism and cardiovascular diseases, molecular mechanisms in cachexia, diabetes and insulin resistance, biology of the pancreas, obesity, clinical metabolic research and therapeutics, and endocrinology.
