Julia Schnabel at Helmholtz Career Day for Data Science and IT

Data Science can help save lives. Julia Schnabel talked about the potential of machine learning solutions for medical imaging applications, such as early detection of diseases.

 

The Helmholtz Career Day for Data Science and IT brought qualified applicants together with Helmholtz centers.
Guests from all over the world visited the virtual career day to learn about job opportunities in IT and Data Science.

The event with the appearance of various Helmholtz Centers, platforms and schools was very successfully for the third time:

  • Over 600 visitors from 77 countries attended the online event
  • The conference program, with Keynote and panels held the attention of visitors: on average, they spent over 2 hours on the event pages
  • Visitors spoke in 159 five-minute video chats each with Helmholtz Experts present
  • As a result, 743 visitors that day clicked on the Data Science job board on the HIDA website, where we list all the Data Science jobs at the centers
