IDM Researchers participate in the 85th ADA Scientific Sessions

IDM,

Researchers from the IDM attended the 85th Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), held from June 20 to 23 in Chicago, Illinois. As one of the two world’s largest diabetes conferences it brought together more than 11,000 leading physicians, scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals.

Numerous scientific symposia, lectures, and poster presentations showcased current studies on innovative approaches to obesity treatment, new standards of care, and the latest data on GLP-1-based medications.

“This year’s agenda showcases our dedication to pushing the boundaries of research, encouraging innovation, and ultimately enhancing the lives of people living with diabetes and obesity,” said Rita Rastogi Kalyani, ADA President of Medicine & Science.

We are proud that our researchers (from left to right: Prof. Dr. Andreas Birkenfeld, Arvid Sandforth, Leontine Sandforth, Prof. Dr. Reiner Jumpertz-von Schwartzenberg) contributed to this important international conference with their latest research presented in talks and scientific posters.
